The Newsfeed Gadget Manager & Moderator Functionality for Apple Mobile Devices

Newsfeed - The Newsfeed gadget is a ‘closed circuit’ social media channel exclusively for your App End User community. 

Users can request to follow like minded Users building friendship groups in your App, create posts and share images and videos.

The App Owner can set up the role of a Newsfeed Manager for any selected End User(s) in order to allow them to monitor and moderate the content and enable them to delete non-compliant, offensive or abusive materials posted by App End Users direct from their Apple iPhone or iPad.

The App Owner scenario:

1. Go to the App Dashboard and select ‘CRM’ > ‘End Users’ tab

2. Choose the required End User and carefully press ‘edit’ making sure to avoid the ‘del’ (delete) option beneath!

3. Add the checkbox in Newsfeed Manager option to that User’s profile details.

Note: This feature is available only for iOS native Apps on Apple iPhone and iPads and currently not available for End Users using Android devices  .

The Newsfeed Manager Scenario:

1. Open your native App version on an iOS mobile device
   
2. Open the Newsfeed gadget
   
3. Here you will now see the ability to delete any post or comment that does not comply with your App Community rules or that you deem may be abusive or offensive to others.
