Google Cloud Printer Integration Epson TM M-30 with the Take Away / shopping gadget
Steps on how to get started:
1. Connect the Epson TM M-30 to the LAN (Local area network) network. We recommend to start using LAN VS WIFI, as LAN is more easy and you later on can add WIFI.
2. Make sure that you have a PC or MAC connected in the same LAN (Local area network) network.
3. You will need Google Chrome browser installed on the PC or MAC
4. You will need a Gmail account. If you don't have one, make one here
(We recommend that you have one new Gmail account. You can use this for your App and printer. As you then have the same account also for your order manager).
5. Download the latest printer drivers for the printer here:
PC:
https://download.epson-biz.com/modules/pos/index.php?page=genre&pcat=3
MAC:
https://download.epson-biz.com/modules/pos/index.php?page=soft&scat=33
6. Add your Epson TM M-30 printer to your PC or MAC (the same one using Chrome).
For PC please see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17420/windows-printer-problems
For MAC please see https://itss.d.umn.edu/services/printing/mac-printing
You will see the printer coming up with name TM m-30 following a number (that is the IP adr for the printer).
Very good. Now comes the easy part! :)
7. Login to your Gmail account (as said in point 4) using Chrome (point 3).
8. Then login to your Appsmakerstore account from the front page and go directly to https://appsmakerstore.com/account#tab-google-services and press "
Authorize"
follow steps where you need to press "OK" when Google ask if you want to approve.
9. On https://appsmakerstore.com/dashboard press on the #takeaway gadget, then settings and ensure that the roll down shows the TM m-30. If not, select it and press save, then press "save update"
10.
Testing:
Make print (text black and white) from a document to printer.
When "OK".
Make order to the App.
When "OK"
All works!
