Connect printer to Take Away / shopping gadget using Printix cloud printer

Registration of account on Printix.net
The most convenient way for you will be to start registration from the same device on which you will later have a Cloud Printer connected
1.1 Follow the link to register a new account.
Please, choose “Start Free Trial”.

1.2. A window will open (as shown below). Please fill in your details accordingly. IMPORTANT: Unfortunately, the registration functions through Google account or Microsoft account don't work
Please register using an email that is not a gmail domain.

In the end of the form you will see a field to fill in the domain name. Please just write your company name as one of the options. IMPORTANT! Remember the name that you enter, you will have to enter it every time you login. You will use it in step 2.2

1.3. This window will open next

and a registration confirmation letter will be sent to the e-mail you specified during registration. Please open this letter and click on the button “Get Started”

1.4 After clicking on the button - you will open a new window, with subsequent instructions on what to do step by step

Scroll down the page - and thus you will find yourself on this page (please see below) Please, create a password (IMPORTANT! The password will be entered without duplication, so try to enter it the first time without errors and remember it so that you don't have to recover your password in the future)

- Printix app and settings:
2.1. Please download and install app Printix on your tablet
(please see below)
2.2. After installing the app, you will be prompted to sign in to your account.
- Your registration took place via email, so you need to choose “Sign with another method” (please see as indicated below in picture 1).
- A new window in the browser will be open , where you will need to specify the name of your domain. We prescribed it in paragraph 1.2 (please see picture number 2 below).
- After you enter the domain name and move on, the next window will open with a username and password. Please enter your email and password like this registration from point 1.2 (please see picture number 3 below).
- After you correctly enter all the data, the browser will prompt you to open the program in the application on your tablet (please see picture number 4 below).

At this stage, we leave the work of the tablet and the app and should be opened via computer/laptop, as it should be opened Printich in a regular browser and log in - link exactly the same and with the same sequence of steps as described in paragraph 2.2
2.3. Please select Printex Administrator (please see below)
2.4. You will be presented with the following window - please select here “Download Printox Client” (please see below)
2.5. Remember that we perform all these actions from a browser on a laptop (not a tablet, not in an application). You will see the following menu with a choice of programs to install on Windows or Mac devices. Please select and click on download exactly "Printix Client". (please see below)
2.6. The download of the program will begin, please go through all the installation steps, as indicated in the instructions when downloading the program "Printix Client".
2.7. After successfully installing the program, add a program shortcut to the control panel (please see below).
2.8. After installing the program on your computer/laptop should reboot automatically. If this does not happen, please restart your computer/laptop before starting the Printix Client program.
3.Connecting the printer itself to the program
3.1.After a successful restart of your computer/laptop, click on the Printix Client program icon (as indicated in paragraph 2.7) and select Printers from the menu (please see below).
3.2. This window will open on your desktop. Please click the checkmark “Printix Anywhere” and the button “Add”

3.3. This window will open, you don't need to select any checkboxes, just click “OK”

3.4. Please open this link - link - in your tablet browser. IMPORTANT! We will no longer do anything from a laptop, all the following actions are performed only using a tablet which will be used to connect to the client's printer. You will need to go through all the steps again as described in paragraph 2.2 for login
3.5. In the window that opens, click on the menu (three bars) and select Printers

3.6. In the window that opens, click “Discoverer Printers”.
IMPORTANT! At this stage, your EPSON AIR printer should already be turned on and to the same Wi-Fi network as the tablet on which you are running the Printix program.

3.7. In the window that opens, select Network 1 and click the Discoverer Printers button

3.8. After a few seconds of searching, your printer will be displayed in the printer menu (see example below). But at this stage, the printer's READY status is still displayed in gray (see example below). This means that the program has found the printer, but it is not connected yet. Our task is to connect it, and so that READY is displayed in green.

3.9. Please open again the Printix Client program on the control panel of your laptop, as indicated in paragraph 2.7. In the window that opens, select the printer that appears and click the ADD button
3.10. After that, please return back to the open browser in the Printers menu -link- (as indicated in point 3.5). If the READY printer status has not yet turned green - press the READY word/button itself - you will see the Printer status and ink status window. You can close it. After these steps, the printer status will already be displayed READY in green.

- Getting printer keys for connecting with app
4.1. Click the menu again and select SOFTWARE
4.2. The window that opens - go down to the very end of the page and click on the Printix Cloud Print API button. IMPORTANT! The keys with the codes that will open must be copied into a separate document so as not to be lost. IMPORTANT! Do not close the window with the keys until you make sure that all the keys are copied and saved in the document.
4.3. In the window that opens, enter a name that you will need to remember for the future. It would be wise to name it the same as your domain in paragraph 1.2. Click the checkbox “I Accept” and the “SUBMIT” button
4.4. A window will open with 3 (three) keys. Please copy and save each one in turn. IMPORTANT! The keys with the codes that will open must be copied into a separate document so as not to be lost. IMPORTANT! Do not close the window with the keys until you make sure that all the keys are copied and saved in the document.
- Client dashboard settings for connecting a printer
5.1. Go to the profile of the client to which you are going to connect the printer. Click on "Edit"
5.2.In the window that opens, find the checkbox "Printix Print" and select this checkbox.
5.3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "CHANGE" button
5.4.In your client's menu, please now select "IMPERSONATE"
5.5.Click on your client account name and go to "PROFILE"
5.6. In the new window that opens, select "Printix Settings"
5.7. You will see a window in front of you, in which you need to enter the 3 API keys that you copied (see paragraph 4.4). Please insert the keys according to the name - ID, Secret, Tenant.
OPTIONAL: The number 75 you see in the picture is the width of the receipt (the width of your printer). In this menu, in the future, if necessary, you can change it to the specifics of your particular printer.
5.8. After you have entered all 3 API keys and set the print width according to your printer, click the "SAVE" button. After the data are saved - click the "Discovery printers" button
5.9. If the printer connection was successful and all the keys were added correctly, you will see the name of your printer, as shown in the screenshot. Now you can go to the client dashboard
5.10. Please select in your client's dashboard Shopping gadget/or any other gadget that has a purchase function and an order status. And click the "Edit" button
5.11. In the gadget window that opens, please select "Settings"
5.11.Scroll down the page and you will see the checkboxes associated with the printer appear. IMPORTANT! Be sure to click the checkbox "Available for printing (Printix)"
And also select checkboxes, upon changing the status to which your client would like checks to be printed. It can be either only one or all 5.
5.12. Scroll down the page, click "Save" and "Done"
5.13. Change the status of any order to any of those that you have chosen for printing in paragraph 5.11 in the CRM-Orders menu of your client's dashboard, or from the application of his Order Manager. Your printer will start printing the receipt.
