The Status Gadget
Introduction
The App Owner can add the Status Gadget to their App for tracking the statuses of their App End Users and is ideal for tracking employees or contractors activities during the working day; each App End User’s statuses can be created to suit their individual activity, for example Driving, Unloading, Break etc. and a timeline record of their working day is automatically created.
The Status Gadget is fully configurable to suit any individual business and records the End Users’ activities as required and individual status activities can be named and colour coded accordingly to the App End Users’ daily tasks and are stored in the App Dashboard CRM for future reference.
An advanced report creation option is available with the App Database & Reporting Module if required, for more details speak to your Appsmakerstore Key Account Manager or refer to the App Gadget User Manual as appropriate.
For the App Owner.
1. The App Owner can add the Status Gadget in their App Dashboard from the Management section in the Gadgets tab > “Edit Your Gadgets”
2. Then App Owner presses on the Pencil Tool to edit and configure statuses.
3. In the Gadget edit screen they can see the “Add another status” button.
To add a status field the App Owner clicks on it and then they can see the additional new status.
4. The App Owner can add/change the title and colour for each status. After changing the settings App Owner has to press “Save” to confirm any changes.
The App Owner can create up to 10 x statuses in the App Dashboard
5. To check End Users’ status Reports the App Owner goes to the Dropdown menu > CRM > End Users in the App dashboard. There the App Owner can choose any particular End User and click on his email ID.
This opens a page with information about this End User and the App Owner can scroll down to see the Status log below. There the App Owner can check all the various status changes which were made by End Users and the date and time when they were made.
For the End User.
1. An End User can activate the Status gadget by simply opening the Status gadget in their app. The Status gadget will appear and will be available for changes on the top of the main screen of their app, in the Status gadget and in the Form Editor gadget.
2. When the End User taps on the button displaying their current status, it will open a popup where they can change their status by simply tapping on a different status bar.
3. Their status changes will automatically be recorded in the CRM in the App Dashboard.
